Winchester, MA —The Sachems found out the hard way that the Stoneham High football
team is for real as they were dominated by the Spartans 35-7 at
Knowlton Stadium Saturday afternoon. The game was never in doubt as
Stoneham led 21-0 at the half. The Spartans finished with 302 yards of
total offense. The lone score of the game for Winchester came with
10:25 left in the game on a five yard touchdown reception from Tim
Mangano to wide receiver Tim Gill to make it a 28-7 game.
